We are 7 musicians in the South Manchester Jazz Band; Gentle Jazz, we’re appeal to people who no longer seek the loud and nerve jangling pop of today’s youth.
Remembering with nostalgia the Trad Jazz revival of former days, we play music from composers such as Gershwin, Cole Porter, Louis Armstrong, Hoagy Carmichael and others of the 20th century and flavour them with our own interpretations. We hope you like the result.
